Community Efforts

Thank you for your time and the opportunity to present our Sponsorship Proposal to you and your Company/Organization. In order to remain comptetive in the Boxing industry organizations such as ours depend on the generosity and philanthropy of corporations such as yours.

We are primarily focused on the development of local boxing talent. Gateway Sports and Entertainment debuted in May, 1998. Since that time we have showcased a mixture of World Champions and top contenders all while battling some of the Midwest and the nation’s toughest boxers. St. Louis has a rich boxing history, we plan to continue in that tradition.

Gateway Sports and Entertainment is dedicated to Community Service. Working with Upsilon Omega Foundation, Incorporated a not-for-profit organization affiliated with the St. Louis Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. Established in 1996, the Foundation exists and operates under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. This will allow us to contribute to scholarships for students to attend college. Engage in other community programs such as: Project Uplift-a mentoring program for incarcerated juvenile offenders in collaboration with St. Louis Juvenile Court System; Project Manhood – a leadership development program for middle and high school students.

Our projected goals are to hold upscale boxing events throughout the St. Louis region. Through a comprehensive marketing plan we shall attract an enormous fan base while representing your company in a positive and professional way. The most productive model for advertising for your company in the boxing world is by, displaying professionally created banners, fliers, ring cards, posters, boxing ring cover, etc. with your name/logo displayed. There is also print/air media, and social media. The following dates have been selected for your consideration:

October 21, 2017 & December 9, 2017

Become A Mentor

Over the past decade there has been a decline in youth literacy and job training. Suicide, homicide, high school dropout rate and teenage pregnancy are up. Self -esteem, motivation and most of all community relations are down.

Our mission is to instill the principles of responsible adulthood, critical thinking, personal and social responsibilities, into our youth and provide them with tools necessary for self-respect and community leadership.

The Upsilon Omega Foundation is dedicated to serving the total community. In recent years, The Foundation has implemented numerous social action programs that have had profound impact on the citizens of our area. The Rhapsody In Black Legacy Scholarship Luncheon annually funds our scholarship program. Our program has provided over 275,000 dollars in scholarship assistance to St Louis area high school seniors. These resources have enabled awarded students to pursue their dreams in the fields of science, IT, communication, business, finance and marketing.

This year our revenue falls below the amount we would usually provide, we are asking for your donation in helping our deserving youth turn their dreams into reality. We would appreciate any contribution so we can continue to help students achieve their goals.
